Bristol Maths and Computer Science graduate building across software, data and systems as a Site Reliability Engineer.

01 / ABOUT

A little context about me

I am a Bristol Maths and Computer Science graduate, working as a Site Reliability Engineer at JPMorganChase.

My work spans neural SDE research, trading bots, HPC code optimisation, financial NLP, product design, data science and quantitative finance. I've built Nexus, an internship application platform for students, developed cointegration-based trading strategies that led to an invited IMA TMT talk, worked on dissertation research around neural SDEs, and taken on performance-focused systems work through HPC optimisation. I enjoy projects where I get to dig into the details, understand the moving parts, and build something that makes the whole thing easier to use. Away from software, I'm into word puzzles, reading, travelling, training, trying new food, Lego and board games.

Tech stacks I've built with

Python, PyTorch, Pandas / NumPy, C / C++, Java, TypeScript / Next.js and enough AWS to keep things moving.

One thing I'm learning

Kubernetes

Trying to make pods, nodes and YAML feel less mysterious.
